Barrio Fiesta Bulalo Soup
1 pouch of Barrio Fiesta Bulalo (Beef Bone Marrow Soup) Mix, 40g
8 cups of water
500g of beef shank with bones (bakang pang bulalo)
½ cup of potato (peeled, cut into quarters and soaked in cold water)
1 cup of green cabbage (cut into ¼ wedges, core trimmed but not removed).
¼ cup of Napa cabbage (cut in ¼ wedge, core removed)
¼ cup of Baguio string beans (ends cut. trimmed 1” to ½” long)
6-8 pieces of clean, trimmed pechay (optional)
2 teaspoons of green onions, chopped (optional)
- In a stock pot, combine water and beef. Then, cover.
- Bring mixture to a boil for 20 minutes and then let it simmer until beef is fork tender
- Pour in 1 pouch of Barrio Fiesta Bulalo (Beef and Bone Marrow Soup) Mix. Add the potatoes then let it cook for 5 minutes.
- Add beans, Napa and green cabbage and let it cook for 3 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
