Barrio Fiesta Sinigang sa Sampalok
1 pouch of Barrio Fiesta Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix, 40g
½ kilo of raw shrimp with head
5 cups of water
2 onions, quartered
2 tomatoes, quartered
1 cup (100g) of string beans (sitaw), cut into 2’ length
1 cup of raddish (labanos), cut diagonally
2 pieces of long green finger peppers (siling haba)
1 cup (20g) of river spinach (kangkong)
- In a pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add tomatoes and onions. Let it boil for 10-15 minutes.
- Pour in a pouch of Barrio Fiesta Sinigang sa Sampalok (Tamarind Seasoning) Mix. Add vegetables and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the shrimps and cook until they turn reddish. Add River Spinach and simmer until cooked.
- Serve hot and enjoy
