Barrio Fiesta Tinola

Ingredients

1 pouch of Barrio Fiesta Tinola (Ginger Soup Base) Mix
6-8 cups of water
500g of chicken (cut into serving pieces)
1 ½ cups of Papaya/Chayote (peeled, seeded and cut into wedges)
1 cup of chili leaves/spinach/malunggay leaves

Procedure

  • In a stock pot, combine water and chicken.
  • Bring mixture to boil for 15-20 minutes with pan completely covered.
  • Pour in 1 pouch of Barrio Fiesta Tinola (Ginger Soup Base) Mix and add Papaya/Chayote then let it simmer and boil until chicken and papaya/chayote are fork tender.
  • Add leaves and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy
